BREAKDOWN / LEGAL

TERMS OF USE

Draft updated: 17 September 2026

Pre-release draft. These details are being reviewed before launch. This page is not the final release policy.

1. ACCEPTING THESE TERMS

These Terms govern access to Breakdown, a game provided by Breakdown. By downloading, accessing, or using Breakdown, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

If you are below the age at which you can agree to these Terms in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them.

2. GAME LICENSE

Breakdown grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Breakdown for private, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform from which you obtained it.

You may not sell, redistribute, rent, reverse engineer, interfere with, or create unauthorized derivative services from Breakdown, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted by contract.

3. ACCOUNTS AND PLAYER NAMES

Breakdown may create a pseudonymous account for online features. You are responsible for activity associated with your installation and for protecting access to your device. Do not transfer, sell, or share an account in a way that undermines security or fair play.

Player names must follow the Community Guidelines. Breakdown may hide or change a name that is offensive, misleading, impersonates another person or Breakdown, or otherwise violates these Terms.

4. CUSTOM LEVELS AND OTHER CONTENT

You retain ownership of original custom levels and other content you create. By publishing content through Breakdown, you grant Breakdown a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, moderate, and technically adapt that content for operating and promoting Breakdown. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained in backups, moderation evidence, or material already shared outside the service.

You must have the rights needed to publish your content. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or harmful material.

5. FAIR PLAY AND LEADERBOARDS

Do not alter the game, automate play, fabricate or manipulate replay data, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with servers, evade a ban, or obtain an unfair leaderboard advantage. Breakdown may verify runs, remove scores, separate incompatible platforms or rulesets, and suspend accounts to preserve fair competition.

Leaderboard availability and positions are not guaranteed. Results may be reset or migrated when levels, simulation rules, or security systems change.

6. PREMIUM, ADS, AND VIRTUAL ITEMS

Breakdown may offer advertising, optional rewarded ads, Premium, and virtual cosmetic or progression items. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are also subject to that store's terms. Prices and available benefits are shown before purchase.

Virtual items and rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may not be sold or transferred outside mechanisms expressly provided by Breakdown. Statutory refund rights remain unaffected; otherwise, store refund rules apply.

7. MODERATION AND TERMINATION

Breakdown may warn, restrict, suspend, rename, remove content from, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect players, comply with law, or secure the service. The response may depend on severity, history, and available evidence.

You can stop using Breakdown at any time and can delete your account through the game or the account deletion page. You may contact support if you believe a moderation action was made in error.

8. AVAILABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

Breakdown may change over time. Breakdown may add, modify, suspend, or retire features, content, events, or online services. We aim to keep the game available and secure but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to those mandatory protections, Breakdown is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from the use or unavailability of Breakdown.

9. CHANGES AND CONTACT

We may update these Terms to reflect game, legal, or security changes. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way, and the current version will remain available here.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to moving.narastek@gmail.com. This mailbox must be activated before public release.
